The early 30’s symbolized the birth of the watch making industry. In 1934, André Augé decides to create his company; AUGE RESSORTS, and soon becomes world leader in the manufacturing of watch springs.

At the end of the 70’s, AUGE RESSORTS was faced with the clock industry crisis. But with a heritage of forty years experience in industrial activity and Simone Augé’s initiative, the company took advantage of its high technology by diversifying its activity into industrial stamping:  AUGE MICROTECHNIQUES ELECTRONIQUE is born.

Today, AMTE is a dynamic and innovative company, located in the Besançon microtechnics cluster. As one of the major local actors, AMTE’s activities target the car and electricity industries, telecommunications, household appliances, aeronautics, etc.
